Freshly squeezed lemon juice
1/4 cup Cognac or good brandy
2 Tbs Triple Sec or Cointreau
1 Tbs freshly squeezed lemon juice
Garnish: Maraschino cherry and lemon peel
To frost the glass, wipe the rim with the juiced lemon and then dip in the sugar. Allow to dry.
Combine the Cognac, Triple Sec, and lemon juice in a pitcher. Pour some into a cocktail shaker with ice, shake well and pour into the glasses. Garnish with a cherry or lemon peel.
